Update: I find this freaky as hell. If you stare directly into Maria's eyes and move your head around a little, her head will follow you ever so slightly.

Maria does her thing.

This is Maria, the boy leopard gecko. She got her name when she was tiny and no one knew she was a boy. But, like most boys, she's managed to get the other two pregnant a couple of times. Luckily she's not territorial because, well, she's living with two females. Lucky, eh?

Unfortunatly for me, no one managed to catch any food so that I could photograph it before the light turned out and, since leopard gecko's are nocturnal, they do their thing the most at night. Dusk for them happens between 9:45 and 10:20 sharp every evening and between then I have to go back and begin the feeding. If they don't catch any food at dusk, they usually get it before the "sun" comes back up at exactly 8:00. So perhaps tomorrow then.
